Sorry It's Been So Long!!!

Hey I haven't been on my blog in ages so I'm going to quickly review what has happened since my last post

• Around September we went to HEP's cross country course every weekend for a while
• then the snow came are runied our riding plans :(
• Baby & Misty had colic (they are both fine now thank god)
• I got a new saddle for Christmas :)
• Going to try & go to the Jumper Night indoor sometime this week before school starts again
• Brenda & I went for a trail ride the other day up my road bitless & Brenda rode bareback
• And I think thats about it for now trying my hardest to try & get a video up so I'll try harder I guess:P

We went to Jumper Night about a week ago and I made videos of all of us....

Memories!

The horses are finally home by horses I mean Misty and baby!!!!
They've been home for 3 weeks now and have settled in nicely.
And yesterday my trainer brought her horse over and we went for a trail ride:)

Trail Ride, Jumper Nite

Me and my trainer took 2 of the horses for a trail ride yesterday. I took Misty(of course) and Brenda took Angel. We both rode bareback and I had to ride bitless cause of Misty mouth injury but it's healing fast:)
And last Thursday we went to Jumper Nite!
and are now planning on going every week, it's great it's just a course you can run through with Candace(the owner/trainer) in the ring helping you through it. Anyway I made a video for both...

Lucky Clover Stables

I went to my first jumping show the 15th, got pics and videos:)
Classes that I entered~Walk/trot EQ (got 4th place)
And went into hunter O/F 2'3" didn't get a place and didn't finish the course:P
First two jumps were ok the 3d, she never went over the 4th good, the 5th refused twice, and she refused 6th so...just was told to walk out and it was ok:P

I know I haven't posted in a while so I made a video of me and misty jumping:)

Updates....

It's been awhile...I have been enjoying the sun:)
Anyway what has happened since my last post is...
My birthday,
Misty came home for the day I think it was like last Wednesday, And the barn is almost done!! All we have left is two walls, side of the roof,stall doors, barn doors and windows.,
And jumping lessons with Baby and Misty:)
I'm still improving and working on my hands, seat, position and momentum!

Im Bored

I have been going to HEP the past few day and have been working on my jumping and I will update with the cross country videos as soon as I can:)

Lessons

Lessons today! We would have had it yesterday but it was the Fourth of July and everyone was busy. Anyway we got a lot done today....

• just trotting though jumps with the polls on the ground
• cross rails
• straight jumps!
• Having collection
• Rhythm
• Momentum(I have to work on that)

• I worked Baby for a little bit and jumped her...once:)Just getting her warmed up for the next rider.

Ride How You Can!

Today was actually nice!but of course it started raining again around 4:00 :(

But...we got a little riding in before with pictures and videos!!!!!

I got to ride Baby and Misty...with Baby I worked on...

• Collection at the trot(didn't go great but was ok)
• Collection at the walk(was great)
• Halt & salute with head set(not great but was pretty good)
• Cantered a little bit(could use some work)
• Jumped a little but it was only little cross rails

Rain...It Needs To Stop!

It is now June 2 and that leaves only 8 weeks left of summer before school starts again:(
so like ever since the middle of May or somthing like that we have had non stop rain and cloudy days~well we did have like 3 days of sun but it didn't last long.
But on the plus side my birthday is coming up...18 days away!!!!
Misty is supposed to come home between July and~August?
well that's it...not very exciting sorry~lets just hope this weekend will be nice for the fourth of July!?

Fun Shows!

fun. fun, fun shows! I had so much fun! And yes I will update with videos later...one of the best shows yet...and for my and kaityln the best was Misty and Breezy are FINALLY getting along!!!!
I will update with the 411 but I don't have much time with homework, it's the end of the year so they pack it on you like crazy!...well it's almost over!....

Nothin But Rain And Shine!

OK I'll tell you what has happened since I have last posted...lets start with today shall we...

I went to my first horse show of the season and I got pictures:)

I did pretty good Misty was way better than I thought she would be!

I went in walk trot and walk trot equitation. I rode western though because I didn't have any English clothes:( Oh well there's always next weekend which is when my next show is! Busy busy busy!

So I got..

third & four place, but hay it's better than last right?

And my mom rode and she got fifth and sixth place:)

she would have placed higher but to turn around she used both hands instead of one :( how stupid is that I thought it was gonna be a fun show?

This show was kind of last minute anyway, ha ha!

And I had my lesson on Saturday!

So I rode misty for an hour and Baby got ridden by Ronnie and Hayden and Brenda rode Charlie then after that we went for a trail ride and I got to ride Baby Girl!:)

So when we were heading back up the drive way(which is a really long hill)

Brenda said to me 'race ya home' so she took off at a canter and I could only get Baby to trot...so I'm like whatever at least I'll come in second 'cause Misty's so slow...WRONG

I hear thundering hooves behind me and my mom and Misty are GALLOPING up the hill to Charlie. My mom said when we got back that she had waved to the neighbors and Misty took off when she saw us and our horses racing for home:) LOL it was really funny...no one was expecting that!

so anyway here's the pics:) I am in the red and white and my mom is in the redish pink...i will update with more later I have to edit them:)

OK....OK....GUESS WHAT!

OMG I am so excited!

We got out roofing for my barn yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not wait 'till Misty comes home!

My dad said it may not be for a few more weeks but I think I can wait?cause all he has left is..lets see...the roof, stalls, DOOR:)ha ha, 2 more walls...and that's itSo lets hope I'm out of school before she comes home....ride everyday! Have PONY rides for the neighbors....ugh won't that part be fun! NOT And we have AWESOME trails on our road!!!! Ya:)And lets hope that the grass grows longer and longer for my 'never not hungery' horsey!

AND I got my new ridn' boots yesterday too:)

can't wait ot try those out...BUT it just has to rain once I get them...oh well there's always the lesson this weekend:)

Barrel Racing

I didn't think that I was going to ride today with the rain but the sun was on my side and it cleared up and the sun came out!
So I rode and I didn't get pictures...
I got videos lol
Just practising barrel racing for the show June 7th!!!!I think I should really try practising at the place were the show will be held but that is up to my trainer?
And I did some walk, trot...wow was it dusty but it look like a dream so that was kool.

Lessons

Well I have started lessons again and I have pictures!

Today was my third lesson but the pics are from my first lesson sorry....
Anyway me and my best friend are getting better and better every lesson we're currently on

• trotting and cantering circles two on the long line and two on the short line

• Having a good time

• did a little cantering WITHOUT falling of! Unlike last time! HA HA kind of funny:)
• Jumped a few times(my main concern HAVE to work on that:)
• Work on keeping my legs still(had to raise my stirrups and now I feel like a jockey)

To Hot? Well I rode yesterday and yes I got videos and pictures....but I can't post them my camera cord is missing!!!!! And there not that good! Just to warn you!

So I cantered, jumped a little on the pluse side.

Anyway I'll post them as soon as I can find the cord to my stupid camera!

Today's NOT The Day!

I guess today wasn't the day, it rained the whole time I was at the barn...but I rode for a few minutes but didn't get much done before it started raining harder! So we let the horses in earlier than usual....'cause of the rain!!!! And feed them up and got them ready for tomorrow.

I hope tomorrow it will be nicer than today, well it's said to be so fingers crossed!:)

Well I have a new trusty steed! Baby'Waps In Yo Wallet'. She's really my trainer's horse but it's almost the same! We have been workin with each other since Friday and it's been GREAT!

We've worked on head set(keeping collection), maintaining rythem, heals down.....and now working on my first dressage pattern starting tommorow because it's raining today!!!

I have 5 days to learn it 'cause my trainers' going to Rolex tommorow and ya!:) I have 'till then!!

This weekend is gona reach into the 80's I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

I will get more pictures of us when I can I'm in the middle of a video for her, but can't finish 'cause I don't have enough pictures!!!! Well when I got to the barn tommorow I will take more pic's if I can and up load them as soon as possible!!!!
